Apple Store Naperville Robbed: Police Investigate Smash-and-Grab Theft

In what has become an all-too-familiar scenario, another Apple store has fallen victim to a smash-and-grab robbery. This time, it was the downtown Naperville Apple Store in Illinois that suffered a similar fate to several other locations across the country.

The incident occurred this weekend when a car drove through the front door and window of the store, allowing masked thieves to quickly enter and grab high-value merchandise. According to witnesses, the whole robbery took less than half a minute, with the thieves making off with 23 MacBook Pros, 14 iPhones, and 9 iPod touches.

This is not an isolated incident. In recent months, several Apple stores have been targeted in similar smash-and-grab robberies. Just last month, thieves broke into an Apple store in Woodcliff Lake, New Jersey, cleaning out the location of thousands of dollars worth of products.
